Gunnar Sveinn Magnússon is a dedicated sustainability executive with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as Partner and Head of Sustainability & Climate at Deloitte Iceland, and is part of the Nordic Leadership Team. Previously, they held significant roles such as Sustainability Manager at Íslandsbanki, where they developed and implemented sustainability strategies, and Partner at EY, where they built a Climate Change and Sustainability Services team. Gunnar's earlier experience includes positions at the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission, emphasizing their expertise in sustainability, finance, and strategic development. They hold a Bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University and a Master's degree from the London School of Economics.
