David Hicks serves as the Director of Advanced Development at Defibtech, LLC, where responsibilities include leading a cross-functional engineering team and defining requirements for innovative defibrillation and resuscitation products. Prior to this role, David held several leadership positions at TransAct® Technologies, including Vice President of Software Engineering and Vice President of Electronics, focusing on customer solutions and overall engineering activities. David's experience also includes senior engineering roles at inc.jet, Inc. and Presco, Inc., along with a foundational experience at SAIC. Academically, David holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer at Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
