Vince Welke, Ph.D., is a seasoned data engineer and adjunct professor currently teaching at San Diego Mesa College and working as a senior data engineer at Deep Sync. With a diverse background that includes leadership roles as a technical lead manager at LiveRamp and various positions as a data scientist, Vince has specialized in building data pipelines and improving data accuracy in measurement systems. Vince earned a Ph.D. in Experimental High Energy Physics from the University of California, San Diego, where they also completed their M.S. and conducted postdoctoral research. Their experience spans notable institutions including CERN and FICO, where Vince worked on advanced analytic models for fraud detection and data integration.
