Debbie Taylor will use her extensive education and training and development background in her position as DECA’s Leadership Specialist. In collaboration with DECA’s Chief Program Officer, the Leadership Specialist is responsible for implementing a comprehensive student leadership program for both high school and college divisions. Most recently, Debbie has served as a teacher in Florida, where she used project-based learning and technology to promote learning, creativity and collaboration. She also served as a curriculum coach for her peers. Debbie holds a master’s in educational leadership from the University of West Florida and is pursuing her Professional Human Resources Certification.
