James Lee

Assistant Archivist

James Lee is an experienced professional in library and information management with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Assistant Archivist at Deakin University since April 2023, James previously held the position of Access Services Officer at the Public Record Office Victoria. Prior to these roles, James contributed to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a Sound & Reference Librarian from June 2007 to November 2022, providing essential media delivery services and co-hosting the segment "Vinyl Frontier" on ABC RN Books and Arts. Earlier career roles include Librarian at Stomp and Library Officer at Moreland City Council. James holds a Post Graduate Degree in Information Management from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Deakin University.
