Nic van der Ende serves as the Chairman of the Committee at the European Banking Authority, leading a group of accounting experts responsible for developing accounting policies in the European banking industry. With a robust background as a Policy Advisor, they have worked extensively in the financial services sector, specializing in Enterprise Risk Management, Banking, and Accounting. Nic's previous roles include membership on the Board of Advisors for the Consultative Advisory Group of IAASB and IESBA, and leadership positions within the Basel Committee of Banking Supervisors. They are a graduate of the Universiteit van Amsterdam and currently hold a position as a Senior Policy Advisor at De Nederlandsche Bank.
