David Johnson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the diamond industry. Currently serving as the Head of Strategic Communications at The De Beers Group of Companies since October 2013, David has held several key positions including Senior Manager for Media and Commercial Communications and Midstream Communications Manager. Prior to this, David worked at DTC from 2004 to October 2013, where roles included Beneficiation Manager and Secretary to the Executive Committee, Internal Communications Manager, and Communications Executive. David holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature & Philosophy from The University of Manchester, obtained between 1996 and 1999, and is an alumnus of Maidstone Grammar School.
