Sheridan Currie is the principal violist of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, where they have performed as a soloist and chamber musician across the United States, Canada, and Europe. They earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory and a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where they served as a teaching assistant. Sheridan has been a member of various quartets, including the Lake String Quartet and the Masala String Quartet, and has collaborated with notable composers. In addition to teaching viola and violin privately, Sheridan is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dayton and Cedarville University, and they also perform with the Cincinnati and Columbus Symphonies.
