The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s is unique in the Parkinson’s community. Our mission is to help people living with Parkinson’s to live well today.

We provide programs and research that deliver inspiration, information and tools that enable people living with Parkinson’s to take more control in managing their disease and experience a better quality of life.

The Davis Phinney Foundation was founded in 2004 by Olympic medal-winner and cycling great, Davis Phinney, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2000 at the age of 40.

The Community Engagement Team at Davis Phinney Foundation works to connect and engage with individuals and communities affected by Parkinson’s disease. Comprising primarily of Ambassadors and volunteers, the team facilitates educational events, advocacy efforts, and support networks to empower people living with Parkinson’s to manage their condition effectively and improve their quality of life.

Community Engagement Team

The Marketing and Fundraising team at the Davis Phinney Foundation is dedicated to promoting awareness and generating support for the foundation's mission to help people with Parkinson’s live well today. They manage marketing campaigns, organize community events, drive individual and corporate fundraising efforts, and create inspiring and informative content. This team ensures the foundation effectively engages with diverse communities, including the Hispanic community, and orchestrates events like The Victory Summit to foster education and empowerment for those affected by Parkinson’s.
