Ivo van der Maat is an experienced Engineering Project Manager currently serving as the Assistant Department Manager Naval & Structures at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding. With a strong background in the shipbuilding industry, Ivo has worked on various projects ranging from cargo vessels to offshore patrol vessels. Ivo held previous positions at Damen Shipyards and Egemin, where they focused on project management, engineering, and systems integration. Ivo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Avans Hogeschool Tilburg and pursued partial studies in Marine Technology at Delft University of Technology.
