Mary Hanna, PharmD, RPh, currently serves as the Director of Medical Science at Cytokinetics, a position held since August 2022, after progressing from Associate Director in the same field. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Amgen, a Medical Science Liaison at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH, and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Johnson & Johnson focusing on Global Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance. Additionally, Mary has held academic positions as Adjunct Faculty and Chairman of the Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Program Teaching Committee at Rutgers University, where responsibilities included instructing pharmacy students and coordinating post-doctoral fellows’ teaching. Other notable experiences include a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Global Regulatory Affairs Oncology at Janssen Inc., internships at Clara Maass Medical Center and Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and earlier internships at CVS Health. Mary holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University, obtained in 2016.
