POSITION PROFILE:

  • Serve as a core team member on key pieces of business, managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Execute and support the development of sports activation and partnership strategies for consumer brands
  • Manage daily client communications and internal workflows across accounts
  • Craft, present and execute integrated communications strategies for major campaigns
  • Develop and implement media strategies to generate earned coverage (e.g., build media lists, pitch media, staff interviews)
  • Draft and edit media materials (e.g., pitches, Q&As, briefing documents), producing high-quality, client-facing final products
  • Demonstrate a consistent understanding of cultural trends (sports and pop culture) among varied audiences (e.g., Gen-Z and millennials) and relevant client/media industry news to identify compelling long-term and quick-strike ideas for clients, media and influencers
  • Assess value of client participation in high-impact sports events, partnerships and cultural moments
  • Mentor and support team members to foster excellence, camaraderie and success
  • Serve as a regular participant in client meetings and presentations
  • Adopt new media trends, platforms and practices, democratizing learnings and helping to raise the acumen of our organization and clients
  • Assist with ongoing reporting, research and monitoring projects for clients
  • Manage outside vendors/partners and troubleshoot activations

Qualifications

  • Years Experience: 4-6 years of experience in similar industry
  • Education: BA or BS degree in Communications or a related discipline

NYC Salary range: $74,000 - $85,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
