Somshekhar Baksi has extensive experience in financial analysis and risk management, currently serving as Head of Ratings and Analytical Risk Review at CRISIL Limited since February 2018. In this role, Somshekhar established the analytical review function and developed a robust risk-based review methodology. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Director and Review Manager at S&P Global Ratings, where Somshekhar led global analytical quality assessments. At CRISIL Limited, from July 1999 to February 2018, Somshekhar held multiple leadership roles, including Head of the Global Analytical Centre, overseeing a large team of analysts, and leading rating operations with significant volume handling efficiency. Additionally, Somshekhar has a solid educational background with a Postgraduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Lucknow.
