Ivy Charmatz serves as the Senior Vice President of Communications & Content Strategy at the Count Basie Center for the Arts since September 2025. Additionally, Ivy is the Host and Executive Producer of "Big Little Stories" on ONNJ, focusing on storytelling that inspires and builds community. Ivy holds a position on the Board of Trustees for Blood Cancer United, contributing to the organization's mission to eliminate blood cancer. Ivy is also a Guest Lecturer at Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, and serves as the Executive Producer and Chief Strategy Officer at Luma Soul Media. As an Advisory Board Member at Allaire Community Farm, Ivy supports its mission of community healing and inclusion. Previous experience includes senior roles at Mercury Public Affairs, News 12, and consulting through Charmatz Consulting. Ivy earned a BA in Communication and Philosophy from Rutgers University.
