Rosario Asaro is currently a 1st Engineer at Costa Crociere S.p.A., overseeing ships with main propulsion machinery of 3000 kW propulsion power or more since 2019. Previously, Rosario held various engineering positions at Corsica Ferries between 2008 and 2013, progressing from Engine Cadet to 2nd Engineer and then to 3rd Engineer Officer. Rosario also worked for Carnival Cruise Line in multiple engineering roles, gaining extensive maritime engineering experience. Rosario completed a degree in Tecnico del mare, Macchine marine/Navigazione from Nautico Mazara del Vallo in 2008 and continues to enhance their qualifications through various technical training programs.
