Mehek Seyid is a seasoned social media strategist with extensive experience in digital content creation and community management. Currently serving as a Social Media Strategist at Corus Entertainment for Prime Video Canada since April 2021, Mehek previously held roles including Community Manager and Social Copywriter for the same organization. Prior to that, Mehek was a Producer of Social Media at the Toronto International Film Festival from March 2019 to April 2021, where significant achievements included increasing social impressions and engagement, as well as launching the inaugural Asian Heritage Month initiative. Earlier experiences also include various roles in digital content writing, marketing, and human resources across companies such as Flixel Photos Inc., Pathway Communications, and the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee. Mehek holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a Minor in Political Science from Western University and a Certificate in Digital Marketing Management from the University of Toronto.
