Dave Austin is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Business Partnership and Mergers & Acquisitions Lead at Corteva since September 2017, facilitating IT collaboration across various corporate functions and overseeing IT due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures in the Ag Division. Prior to this role, Dave held several positions at DuPont Pioneer from July 1997 to August 2017, including Sr Manager of Encirca IT, where responsibilities involved leading software development and data management to enhance crop productivity analytics. Additional roles included Research Director and Field Research Initiatives Coordinator, focusing on software support, data management, and molecular breeding for product development globally. Dave holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
