John F. Novotny, PE, has extensive experience in environmental engineering and management. Beginning a career at O'Brien & Gere as an Engineer from 1988 to 1993, Novotny then served as a Manager at BBL until 1997. Between 1998 and 2006, Novotny worked at GE as the Manager for Facilities and Brownfields Remediation, overseeing the demolition of the former GE Transformer site in Pittsfield, MA. A Vice President and Officer at ARCADIS from 2011 to 2016, Novotny specialized in engineering and environmental services for Fortune 500 companies. Following this role, Novotny served as Director of Health, Safety & Environment for Honeywell's Consumer Products Group, managing multiple manufacturing sites. Subsequent positions included EHS Manager at GE Transportation and the current role of Director for Global Environment and Sustainability at Corning Incorporated. Novotny holds a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, earned between 1984 and 1988.
