Ran Avisar is a seasoned electronic engineer with extensive experience in algorithm development and electronic engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Electronic Engineer at CONTROP Precision Technologies Ltd. since May 2015, Ran leads the algorithm team within the Remote Sensing & Technology department, focusing on the design of algorithms for thermal imager sensors. Prior experience includes a role at Nir-Or from September 2009 to May 2015, where responsibility included developing a new generation of video recording modules and providing technical guidance for video processing systems. Previous positions also include Senior Electronics Engineer at Taldor, engaged in research and development of base-band digital modems and signal processing algorithm simulations, as well as an Electrical Engineer at Elbit Systems, overseeing DSP-based real-time image processing systems and managing project schedules. Ran holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Ariel University Center of Samaria, obtained in 2000.
