Tony Hakes is an experienced IT professional with a focus on customer services and virtualization technologies. Currently serving as the Director of Global Customer Services at ControlUp since December 2018, Tony has held positions including GCS US Team Lead and GCS Engineer. Previously, Tony worked at Accelera Solutions from February 2016 to December 2018 as a Support Engineer, troubleshooting various virtualization solutions such as Citrix and VMware. Throughout a career spanning over a decade, Tony has also contributed as a Senior Citrix and Desktop Engineer at Sotera Defense Solutions, where responsibilities included managing the IT Service Desk team and being a certified Citrix administrator. Tony's earlier roles include resource management at Global Defense Technology & Systems, Signature Government Solutions, and production coordination at FedEx Office. Tony holds a degree from James Madison University, attained between 2005 and 2009.
