Ricardo Silva is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in mission planning and robotics software, currently serving as a Mission Planning Systems Engineer at constellr since April 2023. Prior to this role, Ricardo worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Space Applications Services NV/SA, focusing on mission planning techniques and command software development. At VisionSpace, Ricardo held the position of Systems Engineer, leading R&D and project management for automation and technology adoption under ESA contracts. A former trainee at the European Space Agency, Ricardo contributed to onboard autonomy systems, and earlier roles included Automation Engineer at Sysmo and Researcher at INESC Technology and Science. Ricardo holds a Master's degree in Industrial Automation with a specialization in Robotics and Systems from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
