Pau Gasol is the Founder and President of Gasol16 Ventures and the Gasol Foundation, where they focus on initiatives related to nutrition and childhood obesity. They have served as Vice President of the National Basketball Players Association from 2017 to 2020 and are currently a member of the IOC Athletes' Commission. As a retired professional basketball player, Pau played in the NBA from 2001 to 2019 for several teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls. Additionally, they serve as an Advisory Board Member for multiple organizations, including UNICEF and the Asociación del Deporte Español. Pau continues to leverage their experiences to inspire change and amplify athletic voices through their work with Harvard University’s Global Sports Initiative.
