Mohamed Bakeer is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing technology for major sporting events and hospitality. Currently serving as Head of IT for the Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) since August 2013, Mohamed has played pivotal roles in the IT management of significant tournaments, including the All African Games Morocco 2019 and the Total Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt 2019. Prior to this, Mohamed held IT management positions at Swiss Inn Hotel, Horizon Pyramids Hotel, and Savita Resort & Spa, as well as serving as an IT Specialist at Knowledge Era Company. Mohamed also gained experience as an Accountant Trainee at Misr Petroleum Company early in the career. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management from the Faculty of Commerce Ain Shams University.
