George Liao has a strong background in software development, with experience working for several telecommunications and technology companies. George began their career as a Software Test Engineer at Cellular Technical Services in 1997, where they wrote test plans and performed testing on various products. In 1998, they moved to TeleCommunication Systems as a Senior Software Developer, leading the E911 development team and working closely with system engineers and operations groups. In 2006, George joined Microsoft as a Software Design Engineer II, where they designed and developed Server Manager for multiple Windows Server releases. In 2011, they joined TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. as a Principal Software Developer, responsible for the design and implementation of cellular E9-1-1 products. Finally, in 2013, George joined Comtech Telecommunications Corp., initially as a Development Manager, and later advanced to Director and Senior Director roles. In these positions, they contributed to the development and release of Next Generation 9-1-1 software and worked closely with product, development, and QA managers to ensure quality and timely releases.
