Maria K. serves as the VP of People at both Complex NTWRK and NTWRK, where expertise is applied to enhance organizational culture and drive people strategies in modern entertainment and mobile-first shopping. In addition to these roles, Maria holds positions as a Human Resources Advisor and Director of Human Resources at Hawthorne Advertising and is involved with Chief, a network promoting women in leadership. A founding member of Hacking HR, Maria contributes to a global HR community, while previously serving in leadership roles at Gavin de Becker & Associates and the Los Angeles Film School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, a Master of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and specialized training in Human Resources Management from UCLA Extension.
