Sami G. serves as the Senior Vice President of Renewables – Engineering & Construction at Competitive Power Ventures since January 2025. Previously, Sami held senior leadership roles at Cypress Creek Renewables and EVgo, overseeing engineering and construction activities, and building teams to enhance project execution. Noteworthy achievements include leading energy storage project development strategies at Shell and managing large-scale battery storage and utility-scale solar projects at NEC Energy Solutions and SolarReserve. Sami's extensive experience in engineering and project management is complemented by an MBA in High Technology from D'Amore-McKim School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
