Julia Neel is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in system architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Architecture at Compassion International since January 2019, Julia leads engagements with IT and business stakeholders to develop architectural solutions and practices for various IT domains. Previously, Julia founded and held the role of Chief Architect at Sapio Sciences, where the Exemplar LIMS suite was designed for leading firms in research and biotechnology. Additional experience includes being a Master Consultant and Project Lead at FullTilt Solutions on advanced emergency response systems, as well as roles at Honeywell, STS, Inc., and Watkins-Johnson, focusing on industrial automation, government telecommunications systems, and surveillance technologies. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Penn State University.
