Stephanie Knatz Peck, Ph.D., serves as the Associate Clinical Professor and Director of Intensive Family Treatment at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center since July 2014. In addition to her role at UCSD, Stephanie is a Consultant and Subject Matter Expert at COMPASS Pathways and has been the Founder and Clinical Director of BrightMind Therapy since July 2015. Stephanie's experience includes co-investigating trials on psilocybin-assisted therapy for anorexia and treatment-resistant depression, and previously worked as a Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry & Pediatrics, conducting therapy for various eating and weight-related issues. Stephanie completed a Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology from 2006 to 2012.
