LaDonna Christy Ph.D, NEA-BC, NPD-BC, CCRN, CHSE currently serves as the System Director at CommonSpirit Health since February 2022, and holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University of St. Thomas-Houston since June 2013. LaDonna is also a Nursing Instructor at Western Governors University, a role set to continue until June 2024. Previously, LaDonna was the Interim Director of Education for Nursing and Patient Education and the Director of Clinical Education at CHI St. Luke's Health from November 2019 to February 2022. Additionally, LaDonna worked as the Nursing Program Leader for Critical Care at Houston Methodist from June 2015 to November 2019, and served as a Critical Care Nurse Clinical Educator and Clinical Nurse Manager at Harris Health System from June 2011 to July 2015. LaDonna began nursing career as a Staff Registered Nurse in the Surgical ICU/CVICU at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System from January 2007 to June 2012. LaDonna earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston between July 2016 and May 2022.
