Ned DeMent has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, beginning as a Field Engineer at L.F. Communications from 1982 to 1985, progressing to Network Engineer roles at Allnet Communications and ATX, Inc. between 1985 and 1994. In 1994, Ned DeMent became Director of Operations at US WATS, then transitioned to Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering at New Global Telecom from 1996 to 2000. Following this, a leadership role as Managing Director at Asia Touch Limited occurred from 2000 to 2002, and as COO of Pinz Telecom from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2008, Ned served as President of TE Sourcing, LLC, before taking on the position of Vice President of Information Technology at ATN International from 2008 to 2019. Currently, Ned DeMent is President of Essextel, LLC at ATN International and General Manager of Carrier Services for Commnet Broadband, starting in January 2025.
