Kent Gourdin

Director, Global Logistics & Transportation Program

Kent Gourdin currently serves as the Director of the Global Logistics & Transportation Program at the College of Charleston since August 1999. Prior to this role, Kent was a Professor at UNC Charlotte from August 1988 to August 1999, and also held positions as a Transportation Officer and Weather Observer in the United States Air Force from February 1968 to June 1988. Kent Gourdin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Transportation Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 1971 and 1973, followed by an MBA and DBA in Transportation & Logistics from the same institution from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, Kent earned an Associate's degree in History from the College of San Mateo from 1965 to 1967.
