José Miguel Espinoza Garrido is an experienced Electric Engineer with a significant background in the national energy sector, specializing in managing human resources and infrastructure related to electric generation and transmission. Currently, they lead the asset management of thermal generation totaling 1,540 MW capacity and have overseen the operational support for 23 power generation plants, both hydraulic and thermal, amounting to 3,278 MW. José Miguel has effectively managed complex scenarios and scarcities in fuel supply, particularly during 14 years overseeing the administration of combined cycle and open cycle plants. They have also contributed to due diligence processes for generation assets domestically and internationally, while developing projects for emergency generation units. Their extensive educational background includes an Advanced Management Program from Universidad de los Andes and strategic leadership courses from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Universidad de los Andes.
