To further strengthen Cognite's impact we are looking to hire a seasoned account executive who thrives enabling large manufacturing organizations C-level management creating greater impact through technology. 

We believe in our commercial resources being close to our clients. We are therefore looking to hire our next commercial resources in our emerging markets in Germany with specific focus on the process industry. 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Oversee, develop and expand a portfolio of corporate, tier 1 Manufacturing clients, mainly in process/chemical industries
  • Driving complex sales processes A-Z, involving and collaborating with business development, pre-sales, strategic customer service, marketing and product
  • Qualifying business opportunities, setting account strategies, execution and closing agreements
  • Develop territory plan and pipeline
  • Collaborate with partners
  • Business forecasting

To succeed in this role we believe you have the following background

  • 5 + years of sales experience in complex multi-stakeholder environments
  • Solid domain and industry knowledge from process manufacturing
  • Proven know-how of selling six-figure ACV deals (EUR) within the manufacturing industry
  • Track record of solid achievement in enterprise sales, preferably SaaS sales
  • You are often described as a strategic thinker who takes pride in communicating  technology business value enterprise C-level management and senior stakeholders. You are a strong orchestrator, leveraging resources around you to drive results
  • Able to travel when required
  • German and English with full professional proficiency
