Paul Reinhart, PhD, is a Clinical Project Manager at Cochlear since September 2021, specializing in managing clinical trials for hearing implantable technologies aimed at obtaining FDA and regulatory approval. Previously, Paul served as a Research Scientist at Starkey Hearing Technologies from November 2019 to September 2021, focusing on the development and evaluation of hearing aids and health technologies. Prior to that, Paul worked at Leidos from April 2018 to October 2019, conducting cognitive science and psychological research to enhance the performance of U.S. submariner warfighters. At the University of South Florida, as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar from September 2017 to April 2018, Paul developed clinical trials related to auditory neurophysiology and hearing assistive devices. Paul also completed doctoral studies at Northwestern University from August 2013 to August 2017, where research centered on hearing assistive devices and cognitive psychoacoustics. Paul holds a PhD in Hearing Science from Northwestern University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Audiology and Hearing Science, and Classical Civilizations from Indiana University Bloomington.
