Kirsten Impey is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and brand management. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Communications, Awareness, and Brand at Cochlear since November 2017, Kirsten has also held the position of Acting Vice President of Communications and Brand, as well as Group Manager of Corporate Communications and Brand. Prior to Cochlear, Kirsten spent nearly two decades at Bayer, where roles included Group Head of Communications for Australia and New Zealand, Corporate Communications Manager, and Public Affairs and Media Manager. Earlier career experience includes consultancy work at SACG Healthcare PR Agency and a Senior Health Promotion Officer role at the NSW Health Department. Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communications with Distinction from Western Sydney University, and has completed programs in Leadership and Communications at the University of Technology Sydney and training through the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
