Dr. Kamakshi Raman is an experienced executive with a distinguished career in human resources and development, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Indian Institute of Coal Management at Coal India Limited since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kamakshi held several key positions at Steel Authority of India Limited from February 1983 to April 2022, including Executive Director (HRD), where responsibilities encompassed leading learning and development initiatives, implementing HR interventions, and driving leadership programs. Kamakshi made significant contributions as the first female executive to head the Personnel & Administration of Durgapur Steel Plant and managed corporate HR and CSR functions across the organization. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resources Management and an MBA, supplemented by multiple degrees in commerce and business from various distinguished Indian institutions.
