Michel Thiebaut de Schotten is currently the Deputy Director at VBHI and holds the position of Editor in Chief for "Brain Structure & Function" at Springer Nature Group. They previously served as the Director of Research at CNRS from 2018 to 2024 and were the Head of the Research Department at CNRS in 2018-2019. Michel's career includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at INSERM and as a Research Fellow at King's College London, alongside significant contributions as Chair for the Organization for Human Brain Mapping between 2014 and 2017. Their academic journey culminated in a PhD from Pierre and Marie Curie University, completed in 2007.
