Prof. Christothea Herodotou is a Professor of learning technologies and social justice at The Open University, where they focus on the design and evaluation of learning technologies aimed at promoting equity and social justice. In addition to their role at The Open University, they serve as a Senior Fellow at the Higher Education Academy and as an Honorary Associate at the UCL Institute of Education. Christothea holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Digital Games and Psychology from the UCL Institute of Education, along with a Master's degree in Education, Technology, and Society from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education from the University of Cyprus.
