Tyler B. Long has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and integration. Tyler started their career at McKenney's, Inc., where they held various roles including Jr. Applications Engineer, Field Application Engineer, and Standards & QA Engineer. During their time at McKenney's, they gained expertise in control system design, programming, and support for large-scale installations. Tyler also contributed to the development and implementation of custom optimization algorithms, software version control, and automation. In 2017, they joined Clockworks Analytics (formerly KGS Buildings) as a Service & Integration Engineer, and later became the System Integration Manager. With Clockworks Analytics, Tyler focused on system integration and provided support to ensure seamless operation of building analytics platforms. Their extensive experience in engineering, integration, and project management makes him a valuable asset in the field.

Tyler B. Long attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2002 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Tyler also received the Engineer In-Training certification in July 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Tyler obtained the Niagara N4 Developer certification, Linux Essentials Certification, and Niagara AX Developer certification. Tyler also completed various online courses through Coursera and received certifications in Responsive Website Development and Design, Web Application Development with JavaScript and MongoDB, Introduction to Meteor.js Development, Responsive Web Design, and Responsive Website Basics: Code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
