Torsten Kohmäscher is currently the Head of System Technology Hydraulics at CLAAS. Torsten began their career at the RWTH Aachen University, where they earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Hydraulics, and served as Team Leader & Deputy Chief Engineer at the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Controls. They gained industry experience at Sauer-Danfoss, where they worked as a Propel System Engineer, and later progressed to Project Manager at Danfoss Power Solutions. Torsten's focus throughout their career has been on the development of advanced hydrostatic drive train solutions, emphasizing integration of mechatronic controls and adherence to emission regulations.
