Allyson Power Switzman is currently the Director of Strategy & Client Relations (Development Review) at the City of Toronto, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, Switzman served as the Director of Priority Projects for the Central Region at Ontario's Municipal Affairs and Housing from 2023 to 2025, and as Manager of Agency Oversight at the Ontario Ministry of Infrastructure from 2020 to 2021. Their earlier roles include Manager of Growth Planning & Analysis and Manager of Strategic Policy Liaison at Ontario’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Ministry of Finance, respectively. Switzman holds a Master of Applied Environmental Studies in Local Economic Development from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University.
