Justin Day is an innovative emergency management and fire safety professional who began their career in the fire service as an intern for the City of Costa Mesa in 2013. They later interned with the City of Anaheim in 2016, transitioning to a part-time role as a Community Risk Reduction Officer where they focused on fire safety inspections and community risk management. In 2021, they accepted a full-time position as a Fire Safety Inspector with the Laguna Beach Fire Department and currently oversee wildfire mitigation efforts and manage a UAS program. Justin holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Arizona State University. Currently, Justin serves as a Deputy Fire Marshal for the City of Redlands since 2024.
