Xochitl Rocha has extensive experience in library services, particularly focused on children and youth. Xochitl served as a Literacy, ESL, and World Languages Intern at The Seattle Public Library, where work concentrated on adult Spanish language services. Xochitl further developed competencies in children's services as an intern at The Seattle Public Library and later as a Children's Services Librarian for the City of Glendale, CA, responsible for program development for families with children aged 0-12. In the City of Lompoc, Xochitl held the position of Youth Services Manager, designing programs for children and teens while implementing the Summer Reading Program. Currently, Xochitl works as a Youth Services Librarian for the City of Oxnard. Xochitl's educational background includes a Master of Library & Information Science with a focus on Children and Youth Library Services from the University of Washington.
