Amanda Bowen is currently the Battalion Chief of EMS Training at the Memphis Fire Department, a role held since 2023. Prior to this, Amanda served in various capacities at the Memphis Fire Department, including Firefighter/Paramedic/Instructor and EMS Lieutenant. Amanda began their career as a Paramedic at the City of Olive Branch Fire and Oktibbeha County Hospital from 1997 to 2001. They hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Bethel College (TN) and are pursuing an Associate of Science in Emergency Medical Technology at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
