Andrew Sturgess is currently the Director of Business Growth and Entrepreneurship for the City of Kitchener, where they lead strategies to attract new investments and support local business success. Previously, they managed the Investment and Development Office at the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, focusing on destination and product development in Ontario's tourism industry. With extensive experience across both the public and private sectors, Andrew has been recognized as a strategic leader in stakeholder relations and public policy. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph and a Project Management certification from the University of Toronto.
