Marilyn Cheong currently serves as a Manager of Sustainability at City Developments Limited, a position held since March 2020, after progressing from Assistant Manager and Senior Executive roles within the same department. Prior to this, Marilyn was selected as a United Nations Youth Representative, advocating for sustainable urbanization at the United Nations in 2019. Additional experience includes a Communications & Marketing Specialist role at Acorn Digital and a Paralegal position at Milber Makris Plousadis Seiden. Marilyn's early career also featured positions at Boston College, United Cities and Local Governments, Green Initiatives, and SmartShanghai.com. Marilyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Communications from Boston College, supplemented by studies at the University of Otago and a high school diploma with an International Baccalaureate from Shanghai American School.
