Charles J. Zheng, CFA, is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in the Hong Kong investment banking industry, specializing in commercial real estate finance, private debt, and special situations. Currently, they serve as the Head of Greater China Commercial Real Estate Finance at Citigroup, where they lead the CRE lending business and focus on sponsor coverage for global real estate private equity funds. Previously, Zheng held notable roles at Standard Chartered Bank, ICBC International, BOCOM International, and Deltec, contributing significantly to various financing solutions across the region. Having pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems and Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Zheng also participated in a value investing exchange program at The University of Western Ontario. Outside of their professional life, Zheng enjoys playing guitar and performs as the lead guitarist and vocalist in a local band.
