Jamal Hussain is an experienced KDB Architect at Citadel since September 2017, specializing in building a multi peta-byte historical market data and analytics platform for extensive research and portfolio valuation. As a founding contributor to an internal q framework, Jamal has implemented innovative design solutions to manage significant volumes of tick data and analytics. Previous roles include KDB Consultant at UBS and Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where Jamal focused on KDB+ development and FX algorithmic trading. Earlier experience includes positions as an Associate KDB Developer at NatWest and a KDB Analytics Developer at J.P. Morgan. Jamal holds a Master of Science in Software Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from UCL.
