George Georgiou Christou has extensive experience in the finance sector, particularly in foreign exchange and macroeconomic strategies. Currently, George holds a position at Citadel as an FX/Global Macro specialist since March 2022. Prior to this, George served as Head of Latam Local Markets and EM Quant Strategies/Systematic at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from April 2020 to February 2022. George also worked at Wellington Management as an FX and Rates Global Macro Strategist from July 2015 to March 2019 and had an earlier tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an EM Strategist from August 2011 to July 2015. George began the career as an EM Strategist at Barclays Investment Bank, where service extended from September 2008 to August 2011. George earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), completing the degree in 2007.
