John Clapp is currently the Vice President of Orchestra and Production at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, a position held since 2023. Previously, they served as Vice President of Operations at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra from 2022 to 2023 and held the role of Vice President of Artistic Operations and General Manager at the Charlotte Symphony from 2017 to 2022. John also worked as Orchestra Personnel Manager for the North Carolina Symphony from 2015 to 2017 and as Assistant Principal Bassoon and Contrabassoon for the Grand Rapids Symphony between 2004 and 2008. They hold a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from Oberlin College.
